Has anyone tried using the old Starboard Carbon 110 cm deep tuttle race mast, originally designed for windfoiling, in wingfoiling freerace? It was fairly flexible in wind foiling especially with large front wings, but perhaps for wingfoiling 500cm2 foilis, it could be stiff enough? It's quite thin, 13 mm, and a short chord lower profile. I happen to have an extra one, and on the other hand, I'm currently missing a race foil. The goal is to exceed 27 knots.

I'm also wondering if it might still fit with Starboard's newer fuselages, like the "Team R560" plane. New masts seem to have a 1.5? fuselage-angle built-in. I presume the old ones are 0? / 90? and that might be a problem?

As one option it seems possible to modify cheap Gong V3 alu fuselage and the lower part of the Starboard mast to make them compatible with each other.

If you could find the older Starboard 75cm fuselage I bet you could make it work.
It should fit any modern Starboard fuselage. They have haven't changed.

Definitely an option but you can get that sort of speed on actual wingfoil gear axis,Gofoil at a relatively decent price that big mast is great for racing though good luck in your endeavour

I dunno but before u go too far have a really good look at the fillet / radius from the mast to the fuse end bit. almost all cracked there with solid race use
