I need a replacement bladder for a 2022 Duotone Unit. Do any stores in WA stock those? If not, where can I get replacement bladders in Oz? Thanks for any tips.

I used a company in Oregon for an older model bladder that I had a hard time finding. They make the bladders to the manufacturer specs. Airtimekite. They were also super fast in getting it to me.

Moti Levy Kite Repairs in Tweed Heads NSW also make bladders for any wing. I've had one made recently and it seems to be holding well. They give a 3 year warranty too.

What size do you need? We have a few and can put them in an express satchel to WA. www.surffx.com.au/products/2022-duotone-unit-wing-spare-bladder-front-tube-leading-edge

From my experience 2022 Unit bladder's decompose and are not worth trying to repair.

I got four 2022 Units in 3 different sizes with hundreds of sessions between them, and never had issues with them. The one I need to replace originally belonged to someone else (rescued on a river, never heard from the owner despite contacting every shop nearby, posting on wing groups, etc). This wing has a leaking fill valve. When looking for leaks, it was obvious that the previous owner had not treated it well. There was a small sharp stone inside (!) the bladder, and one side had lots of bubbles. Never saw that on other Unit bladders, and my wife and I have fixed punctures in a few of them. This particular bladder also had several puncture repairs, and after the last repair, it had not been put back in properly at the ends. It's actually amazing it did not pop earlier, with a bladder bubble coming out at the ends. Definitely a user / repairer error. I would have considered just replacing the valve if the bladder had been in the same shape that other Unit bladders I worked on were, but it does not seem worth the effort on it's current shape. Quite a surprise, since the canopy looked quite good (definitely better than the other Unit 5.0 I have which has required some major repairs after putting the foil through it more than once). Should have brought my older wing instead of the newer looking one on the trip.

Thanks for the responses about where to get a replacement, I found one in WA that I can pick up.

That might work if I was in Washington, but I'm currently in Western Australia .
