Interesting that Trump is going to let Kennedy go wild on Health.

I previously mentioned that I thought Kennedy was only about power and celebrity for himself, doing whatever it takes to get there - whatever the compromise.

Over the past few decades he's made a name for himself on big topics like: Environment, Children's Health and Vaccines.

But in his desire for personal advancement he has grabbed on to Trumps coattails and ditched his roots.

Environment? Trump won't let him near anything that could affect their ability to generate wealth from the "liquid gold" under their feet. Or anything that will affect processing or manufacturing industries, you know the ones that are generally heavily regulated to reduce their Impact on the environment.

Children's Health? He won't be able to take any action against the actual biggest killers of Kids in the USA.

Vaccines? Funny how he's been silent about them since hitching his wagon to Trumps campaign? No a word about Vaccines and their regulati, it's actually turned some of his supporters against him. They believed he was going to save America from these poisons, but instead he is keeping his mouth shut so that he doesn't taint Trumps campaign with full bore anti vaxx craziness.

Yep, a real man of principle

With all the division, the US comes across as very tense. Both sides appear to have a deep mistrust of each other. I wonder what it will take to see both sides coming together and work through the differences. Maybe they need Trump to win and destroy their economy.

I'm glad I'm far away, and could imagine why plenty of Americans are considering leaving.

It is only when you realise that global politics are controlled by an organization of international financiers that you appreciate that national politics is nothing but an elaborate dog and pony show devised to give citizens the illusion that they have a say in the way in which their countries are governed.

It is easy to fall into the divide and conquer trap.

If Trump gets another run, it will be decades before the US becomes a great country again. I spend quite a bit of time in California, hopefully they will continue to be a great state.

If Trump wins, the Ukraine is screwed and he'll cancel the AUKUS deal. Australia will have no submarines as China continues its expansion.

Those submarines have 'dud' written all over them. By the time they are in operation, there is a fair chance that technology will have made oceans transparent.

We might as well spend that AUKUS money teaching all Australians to speak Chinese.

It's not often I agree with Paul Keating, but on the face of it, AUKUS looks like a lemon for the taxpayer dollar. I guess there is a lot of Secret Squirrel stuff going on that we don't know about that sweetens the deal.

I think current windsurfing equipment is far better than even 10 years ago. My bank account is far better today than just 4 years ago. I'm proud of how well my kids are growing up to be polite intelligent respectful responsible adults. No, I'm very happy in the present. But thank you for your concern about my well being.

So, Trump has spent the last four years claiming his last election was stolen from him.

He has said that he will acknowledge defeat if he loses this election.
Buuuut only if it's a fair election.

So naturally he's spent a lot of the past year saying the only way he can lose is if massive election fraud takes place.
Priming his supporters to stand with him when, after he loses (if he loses, it's going to be tight), he refuses to back down and causes all sorts of problems for the next 4 years

Is that like when those people who lost the previous election spent four years claiming it was a Russian collusion fraud and caused all sorts of problems with legal and parlimentary process shenanigans that eventually came to nothing ?

Or is it like, totally, like, different ?

The point Remery/Philin/D3 made about a Trump loss is correct. If Trump loses, he will refuse to accept it, and will take advantage of the huge division.

Either way America is in transit for a much larger sh1t show. Whatever the result, can anyone see MAGA eventuating?

It's all going to play out in next few days, so let's just sit back, enjoy the show, and hope whatever has occured in The US doesn't spill over into Australia too much.

No I am not saying that his actions are dictated to him. His inaction on two issues exposes him. He is either compromised or scared. There is the possibility that he is holding a hidden hand which he will play down the track but I think that is unlikely.

There are two issues which western politicians will not go near. Israel and central banking.

The current situation in Israel is unconscionable. The sheer barbarism that is being enacted there is growing more and more like the inhuman atrocities committed by the Zionists during the Soviet revolution.

Both Israel and the soviet revolution are central banker projects.

In a nutshell central banking enables the creation of wealth out of nothing and it has removed that one hurdle that existed to curb warfare which is the problem of how to fund it. Since the creation of the Federal Reserve there has been a magic money tree which is at the root of all the conflict that has occurred on the globe since 1913.

The people at the pinnacle of the wealth pyramid are aware of their vulnerability which is the fact that they are very few in number. In a nutshell they have conjured up a plan for global government which they hope will secure their wealth and control in perpetuity.

One world government and a single world central bank digital currency.

The number of politicians willing to oppose that are very few.

The oceans are likely - and even very likely to be transparent by the 2050s.

Disruptive and existing technologies, such as hyperspectral cameras and other ocean sensing technologies, together with advanced data analytics and Artificial Intelligence will provide better methods of detecting submarines in our oceans.

There are a few research articles published about it. Here's one to start with.

What's wrong if he wants to return to the "good old days" when the USA had governments that believed in;

1- expansion of social security;
2- broadened coverage in unemployment insurance;
3- improved housing;
4- better health protection for all people;
5- the most widely shared economic benefits ever seen;
6- recognition of organised labour;
7- a higher minimum wage;
8- government assistance to workers with special employment problems, such as older workers, handicapped workers, members of minority groups, and migratory workers
9 - CEOs earning about 20 times as much as the average instead of 200 to 400 times as much.

Do those sound like bad things to return to?

As far as "FFS wake up", is that the best you can do in terms of actually having a reasoned discussion?

I feel this needs to be fact checked.

Might be wrong but I think the famous (or infamous) modern CEO uber-wealth comes predominantly not from mega salaries, but from having a significant shareholding in the company. Generally they are the poeple who started the company and have remained as major shareholders and CEO after stockmarket listing.

Their wealth is then primarily driven by selling a company they remain in charge of, and then from other people piling into the shares, sending the share price soaring and so inflating whatever bonus and stock wealth the CEO has.

Zuckerberg for example earns $1 per year salary as Meta CEO. I'd suggest therefore his wealth comes not from stealing the effort his employees put in, but from stockmarket traders speculating on the share value.
