However the WA crop forecast picked up with all the winter rain, but is now slipping back and is currently estimated to be 16,858,000 tonnes.

Mate... the cost of coke is outrageous (the drink). In my local, it is $3.90 for a 2L bottle, and $3.90 for the 1.25L bottle. Don't ask me why they do this, but maybe they are appealing to the people that are okay carrying just over a kilo (of coke) and struggle when it is 2kgs or more?

Grapes are only good when they crush them and let them ferment for a while, but I don't think cost for a bottle varies too much based on the seasons.

National forecast
Wheat up 23%, 20% above 10 yr average
Barley up13%, 7% above 10 yr average
Canola down 8%,22% above 10 yr average
Lentil up 7%, double 10 yr average
Chickpea up 171%, 70% above 10yr average

Always going to be areas below average maybe you should cherry pick down to individual farms to create a narrative in true ABC fashion.
Anything can happen though over spring positive or negative.

Who cares about the cost of living?...

It seems that we all have it wrong and even home ownership is easy.

Just ask this onlyfans model about how easy it is to buy a house and how other Gen Z's are just bad with their money:

www.news.com.au/finance/real-estate/buying/stupid-with-money-20yearold-homeowners-brutal-advice/news-story/e983c6017025878c41fd753b1dd508e6

How bad is it when the media is using onlyfans 'models' to argue that housing is not unaffordable

I think last week there were articles from a prostitute giving out relationship advice, so I guess this is not a new approach. Maybe PM33 has a point and the mainstream media is trying to change our way of thinking?

^ is your point there about your disagreement with the argument being put forward or is it solely a grumpy old man moan about the person providing the opinion ?

www.abc.net.au/news/2024-10-22/blueberry-prices-low-cost-as-growing-season-peaks-farmers/104497136

In short:
As blueberry supply levels peak, prices have dropped below $2.50 a punnet at some Australian supermarkets. Earlier this year, the fruit reached nearly $20 a punnet in some parts of the country.

You need a y on the end of the...

A laughable attempt at covering up the truth that the official inflation rate is a croc.

Agreed! I just went to an IGA and blueberries were 2 punnets for $10! Outrageous! I have them on a plant at home and they are free.... maybe the reason they are cheap is that it is ripening time, well at least that what I think based on the ones turning blue on my blueberry bush. Can someone take them away and make some muffins for me?

But Coke... It's $3.90 for 2 litres again! Which is again, outrageous! Water is cheaper so maybe me and my fellow fatties will start drinking more of that?

I don't think there is even such a thing as the "official inflation rate".

The ABS calculate and publish the CPI (Consumer Price Index) which might be the closest thing. But the ABS also publishes many other similar cost or price indexes. I do not belive there is anything that is then used to create a single "offical inflation rate"

But I think you are kind of right. The CPI is weighted towards things that may not be the best reflection of how households and individual people spend, especially because spending tends to change depending on what prices are actually doing. And thus when people equate the CPI to "the offical interest rate" it is a pile of croc.

Although I am not sure there is a better way of doing it.

Expect blueberries to become more expensive, and to have more pesticide residues, as Chilli Thrips spread from ornamental roses to blueberries.

Even worse, from Pcdefender's perspective, blueberries are known to have DNA in them.

You are clearly trying to hide the conspiracy to increase blueberry prices and push people into eating more KFC. My blueberries don't have thrips (yet by the sound of it), so I am safe from the KFC conspiracy. (I only eat it to make the powers that be think that I am onboard with their solution )

I have heard tales of blueberry DNA leaking into the human genome and resulting in people sitting still for a while, turning blue, and then dropping off the vine. Do you think this is because of nano particles?

The Illuminati spread blueberry DNA via contrails and fluoride. I saw it on YouTube.

Youtube! Youtube is about as mainstream media as you can get. Henry Makow is where its at. We use terrible formatting and too many capitals as we find it filters out the smart ones and the ones left love our stuff.

You should subscribe to HM website. Then you can get 'the real truth' and chat with likeminded people.

Just send me 300 grams of silver and you are in.

I read about that once. I heard big pharma recommended popping by oompa-loompa as the cure.
