Shelves in food shops in affected countries clearing empty quicklyWhat is reasonable size of the food we should keep at home, just in case something nasty happen?
1, 2 - 3 months supply or more ? What sort of food is worth to stock or can be?

I wonder. There are probably most people in cities that are not worried about this and carrying on as normal. Yet there are probably country towns in places that are thinking that the end of the world has arrived and have shut their doors.
What was with the picture of the Italian grocery store shelves yesterday. They had supposedly run out, yet there were certain varieties of pasta that were still on the shelf.
What does this tell us? That Italians are very particular about their pasta and won't eat the wrong type even if its the end of the world? Some things are obviously worth dieing for...

I have bought many of these amazing batteries and flash drives over the years.
When I cut them open they are full of sand. Australian seller, Oz stock, blah blah.
All just picture perfect ripoffs.
From the outside there is not one bit of difference, impossible to tell compared to the real ones, they used the exact same energizer labels.
Just like they do with the baby formula. Empty it out and fill it with crap and sell as original.

Got 25kg of rice, 20kg flour plus sour dough starter, 20 cans of tomatoes, soup packets, and a couple a hundred kilo of malted grains, that's the pantry.

If this virus hits Australia, it will happen in winter. I'm heading back to the farm in May as there is work to be done. It will be interesting to see what happens during this time as we go into winter. Maybe I'll stay there and grow my own food.
I would go dried fruit,honey,dried beans,lentils,rice. Nuts too. Oils.
Frozen so long as we do not have a power out.

The land the yield at least 2.5 % long term gain, guarantied as hard as gold and land itself.
I could foresee that financial world will soon awake to risk involved in investment into fiat money and worthless bonds.
