On behalf of the Seabreeze consilidated network, I'd like to extend a warm welcome to Remery, who's been away contemplating skepticism and critical thinking.

Yes I learned my lesson. Its ok to comment that a member enjoys tonguing anuses, but its not ok to call someone an idiot.

Yes, referring to forum members as 'rimmers' is and has been accepted practice on the network for some time. Idiot, is inappropriate and insulting.

The use of the term "idiot" when referring to flat-earthers is well established on the network and in the media...edition.cnn.com/2019/11/16/us/flat-earth-conference-conspiracy-theories-scli-intl/index.html

I was planning on getting remery a small gift to mark the triumphant occasion of his return. Nothing flash or pretentious, just a small something to represent the general feeling of goodwill amongst the Seabreeze consilidated network.

After much deliberation and critical thinking I had settled on 1/2 pound of potatoes from spudshed, but then I saw the price.

Is there anything else you can think of that would be appropriate to mark this auspicious occasion ?

What if Hitch-hiker reposts that meme
depicting President Obama's daughters, aged 13 and 16, listening to their fathers rimming?

Well, there is a distinction there. It appears to be okay by PM33 to call someone an idiot repeatedly, as its part of 'freedom of speech'. It's not okay for the rest of us though, and probably not the mods by the sounds of it.

But hey, PM33 has drawn a line in the sand and 'free speech is in'. Well, at least what he thinks free speech is, which is not quite what he expects it to be.

Hey, if you want calls from sublime and hitch hiker, good luck to you, but I for one don't want any of that imagery in my head.

Sometimes we forget that this is meant to be a 'family friendly forum'.

Am I missing something?

Why do people keep saying the genders are reversed in the Obama family?

Is it because Michelle is tall?

I think it is because a lot of these guys haven't met, talked to, or dated many women. They probably see them on tv, but don't realise that in real life women vary a lot. Some have deep voices. Some have high pitched voices. Some have tiny hands like Trump, others have larger hands. Some have long legs, some have short legs. There is a huge variety.

So they get caught up in some sort of fantasy for them that Michelle is a guy. Given that no one here has met her, it is clearly more chaff coming from the RWNJs in the US that are obviously not democrat supporters and are trying to attack them personally.

I got up to 'one' just the other day. I think it was a woman, anyway. Taller than me, larger hands*, deeper voice than normal.

That counts, right?

*edit: not larger hands than me, just larger than average. I don't want anyone to think it was weird or anything...

It seems to me that some of the vociferous 'freedom and free speech' proponents get a bit of a surprise when the it turns into a double edged sword crossed with a boomerang.

There is a huge difference between freedom of speech as in ability to share a different take on a matter and CONSTANT DAILY abuse.

It was bringing the General Discussion down big time.

The vibe on here was toxic.

I was posting less and planning on posting in the future only occasionally.

Hopefully now we can share a different take without the constant abuse.

Your take on science.

"Based on reported COVID19 deaths, vaccinations prevented an estimated 14.4 million deaths from COVID19 in a year. However, if excess deaths were used, this estimate rose to 19.8 million deaths prevented, equating to a global reduction of 63% in total deaths during the first year of COVID?19 vaccination."
www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9537923/

Seems pretty safe and effective.

I will never buy the lie or science of 'safe and effective' when so many millions around the world have clearly been harmed by them.
