It's gotta be a good time to sell, doesn't it? Prices are through the roof, interest rates aren't that good. I think it's a seller's market, there's not much around.
Would you do a standard sale or try to milk it a bit harder with an auction?

It's all relative, unless you are looking to buy in a different market.
a mate just sold his place in Port Gregory, it went for 70k over asking a couple of days from being listed.
apparently brokers are falling over themselves to buy up all property in Perth
sounds very agenda 30

It could be worse too. I know a guy that was very impressed with what he sold his place in Perth for, and then announced he was going to buy in Sydney... 'is he crazy' is what immediately sprang to mind.
I was a bit surprised that he was so excited by his selling price in Perth that he didn't consider the price of anywhere in Sydney.
Agenda? You people are crazy. It is all about investment. Property investors were frothing over Tasmania a few years ago about how good value it was, and then prices went up because of this. Now they seem to be set on the cheaper places around Perth where rents are comparatively good for the cost of property.
No hidden agenda, just a screwed up property investor scheme where all of Australia pays for property "investment" in the same exact houses.

Sorry Doc,
Where did you hear that ?
'Brokers are falling over themselves to buy all the property in Perth' ?
aaaaand, ergo - these supposed 'brokers' are working on behalf of the UN ?
......aaaaand to further their goals of buying all the property in Perth, they are starting by over-paying for residential property in Port Gregory ???
mmmmm.....yeah right..... you got any of that ****e your smoking spare ?? sounds like it is goooood ****.
The sale was the talk of the town. Port Gregory has a population of 64 people.
REIWA data on the region indicates a real estate growth rate of a whopping 0.2% in past 10 years.

when you vaxxed lot, more and more start dropping like flies, like youse are...
and your kids go bankrupt cause they can't pay for their hire purchased flashy toys and ridiculous mortgages as the ink from their stupid tattoos dulls their brains ever more, the big end of town enacts that immigration legislation that's waiting in the wings, smart cities go live, etc etc

With so many people vaccinated, won't that mean that when they 'drop like flies' that property prices will go down? Surely there will be a lot less demand and prices will plummet.
Can you spell out the agenda so that we can fact check it?
no, you're quite welcome to pay attention and see it for yourself
Well, I can't. I am 4 times vaccinated, plus one or two tetanus shots, so by definition I won't see it. Or do I get an exemption because I am in on it?
Do I need to get a 5th or 6th to qualify? Surely that would lower the number of candidates for the agenda, so it would be a failure?
Back to the previous bit, Port Kennedy would look good from a rental perspective, so you are probably seeing the same effect from outside investors. It's only when you live near those suburbs do you see where you would want to live and where you wouldn't. There are pockets in some of these places that are great and pockets that are not.
I think areas around Armadale are nice, but locals were horrified whenever I mentioned Armadale.
Too far from the ocean for a start!!!
no, you're quite welcome to pay attention and see it for yourself
I stand with FN. Your posts need more references so they can be fact checked.
I too stand with FN on this one.
Although I think before we get to needing some reference or facts, the Doc should first post in a language other than jibberish.
Isn't ths ramble missing the punchline:

References? I would be happy to see logic, but then again, I have gotten 'the shots'.
Right now there are hundreds of anti-vaxxers blowing their load hoping it is worth something to someone finally.
I had the latest booster a few days ago in preparation for another overseas trip. Felt fatigued the next day. Still travelling haven't had covid. Go ahead with another ban.
When ever i read threads like this i just have to remind myself how distant all you W A guys are from eachother and how lonely that must feel hence the insesant banter

Nuh it's the opposite, we're all close and good mates, incessant banter is par for the course.

No mate, the key part was "the big end of town enacts that immigration legislation". Yocals got jabbed and are dying suddenly, most immigrants don't even know what covd is. At least in the USA they made getting jabbed compulsory for immigration, but then they opened the boarder, so go figure... some say it's for cannon fodder in the looming wars.
T h e A g e n d a is a Brave New World, and we aint in it.
I'm thinking if your were honestly worried about the "border", you would know how to spell border. Unless of course you are worried about the person staying in mom's basement.

Some say those looming wars are coming in 2025 after all the elections taking place this year.

Rimmer: Oh, behold, all, this hapless tool hath committed a grievous speling faux pas. It is imperative that I, in my boundless wisdom, deign to educate all present on my unmatched intellect by rectifying this most egregious error.
Does this means things are getting back on track ?
Thread about selling a house in Perth has gone through the UN subjugating the masses via buying all the residental property in Port Gregory, covid vaxes and tattoos and then swiftly on to the global conspiracy to reduce the population through immigration and war, all in the first page.
I dunno know though, without PM33's persepective on it I am not sure it is credible.
Hey Mods, can we have PM33 back ?? We deserve the truth.
Oh yeah, also..... will my blue kite fit on my green mast ?

Maybe, the recent reports of immigration creating long border delays has the long boarders worried ?

Rimery, did I spell everything correctly?

Why has it gotta be time? Do you no longer need a place to live, or do you need the capital gain from your investment property now, enough to forgo the future compounding gains?
I'd guess the property shortage favours an auction, assuming it's a fairly regular property that plenty of people would be happy to own. Our neighbour just sold by auction and got $300k above what they were hoping for.... and they were already being very hopeful.
Rimery, did I spell everything correctly?
I'm also glad this forum is back on track.
