It is the schools fault they should teach discipline and manners.

NOPE!!
It's up to the parents to do that
expecting teachers to sort the kids out when the parents have let them turn feral is a bit rich.

Better still, make all those 19 year olds that 'can't get a job' because everything is beneath them get off their lazy arses and start picking.

Eggsfarkingzachery!

That attitude that the gubbmint should do this or that is a large part of the problem.

Take some bloody responsibility on your own shoulders. If you insist on breeding.

When the lack of manners and discipline is generational the government needs to step in otherwise the cycle continues.

I've watched how they carry on in parliament. I think that's where the cycle started.

conscript year nine and ten students and their teachers ,on a roster to pick our food .

Why stop at year 9/10 students? Kids as young as 6 were working mines back in the day. Dare I say, the good 'ol days?

**sarcastic

Truth: the most dumbest, stupidest statement I've ever read. Kids? Teachers? Picking fruit? How about we pick the fruit brain of yours instead?

Lets not forget that picking fruit is like any other job.
Safety procedures should be followed and strictly reinforced.Suitable working clothes used, safety boots, helmets , high visibility suits..
Proper insurance and retirement contribution for fruit pickers. To avoid discrimination equal proportion of male and females should be assured, white and non white races.
Young but also older people should be allowed to enjoy this work, even with proper access for mobility scooters and wheelchairs.
Proper toilets and rooms for smokers.Beside that native fauna should have access in first place to fruits of our native land and shouldn't be disturbed when feeding. Bats , possums and parrots should have priority access under conservation law. Routine inspections by authorities should be compulsory at least once a month to ensure compliance.
