Actually Mr Freeze,
Aircraft don't usually crash due to Pilot Error (sometimes, but rare), it is usually a series of mistakes or shortcuts made in maintenance and/or inspections.
So yes, my opinion is if you wash your gear properly and inspect your gear regularly BEFORE you launch, you will not have a problem
My previous trade is Aircraft Engineering.

Only thing is it has not happened on my ozone bar my north bar or naish bar my click bar 2018 was garbage other bits broke including back line float broke of as well don't think you can say pilot error as no issues with other bars like I had with click bar
My safety line also snapped in the same location. I don't wish to anyone experience of snapped line while doing long downwinder in heavy swells.
I did a bit of research and ended up replacing all my lines with lines from these guys - kiteboardinglines.com I reached out to them asking about the issue. They put some reinforcement on that part of the safety line (in that plastic tube) and never looked back.

Anyone else had problems with Duotone click bar Safety Line breaking in near top end of black plastic casing.
Lines about 4 months old.
one mate snapped his resulting in kite release only rolled down the beach a few times.Lucky.
Have since had another mate replace his with a different safety line.
Something rubbing safety line inside top end of black tubing near velro thing below throw adjuster.
Worth checking your for your own safety.!!!!
Hi crew,Just an update regards my mates idea when running a low vee on his click bar using his EVOs.
He replaced his front lines with new Duotone lines under warranty thanks Chris KR ,then lowered the vee and added a bridle pulley after pre drilling a hole on the non runner side grey line.Red safety runs on roller side which keeps red safety nicely centred from rubbing on the top of the inner black depower .
Problem solved he reckons.

Running the bar just fine for the past three years, no problems.
Anyhow, why just not use the original y-line splitter, I mean just remove the red ball and lower the splitter just above the black CL plastic hose.
It's my mates idea not mine.Just thought it may help if there's undue wear on the safety line where it runs past or into the black depower.Which happened too two separate mates using them for less than a season. And we're replaced with new front lines.
I don't even use click bars having changed to Ocean Rodeo shift bars that use a low vee.
sorry, I wasn't trying to be negative/rude, just that it's easy to use the piece already in the bar, and yes I agree, you need to use something to keep the lines not rubbing at the top end of the black plastic depo tube if you want to use low V for front lines.

That's what I did too. Albeit not as risk mitigation but as I am flying my Click bar with low Y kites (and occasionally a Dice which does fly equally suboptimal on low or original low-ish Y lol). Was a pain to get rid of the red ball, but eventually it worked.
Also never had an issue with click bars, have had 2 since they came out. I wash them after each session.
