Yep, already on the way. Left Melbourne two and a bit weeks ago and in Sydney now taking a break for a few days. Will probably head back out and up to Broken Bay early next week to have a look around there. Plan on heading at least to the Whitsundays and seeing how it goes from there.
Sounds like there will be a few others around to look out for, I'm Night Shift on AIS.
If you are going to post how about a photo of your yacht, yacht name and at least your first name so we can find each other.
So for me its Seaka, a Mk1 Top Hat out of the Camden Haven Inlet NSW late in May, going towards Lizard Island. Phil.
"Stede", a freshly painted Triton 24 is sailing north from port hacking late April. Currently moored at callala bay (Jervis) waiting for the right wind to go back to port hacking .
Keep clear, frogs aboard.
For those who don't know me, I'm Trace and this is my new baby Wavesong, a Mottle 33.
I'm hoping to meander up as far as the Whitsundays, meet my kids for the school/uni holidays then return to Brisbane.
The photo is from Wavesong's last venture north with her previous owner.
Wow, looks like it will be fun, with so many people beating the path northward this year.
My name is Richard, and my trip starts right after Easter, starting from Sydney. It is great to have photos and a little background about other travellers. Hers is a pic of Sharona.
Loose plane is head up to the Whitsundays, and get back in time to resume my job in October.
cheers Richard

That looks great Tracy. Have a great time in her and all the very best for your future sailings.

Thanks Sam and Bundeena.
I love her. Wavesong makes all the heartache I experienced with the VDS all worth it.
Getting closer to my departure, one more day at work tomorrow, Easter with some family members, the crew arrives Saturday and a bit of food provisioning, maybe I can dive on the hull to scrape her clean on Friday, and we should be good to go. Weather is due to turn a little crook Monday and Tuesday, with predicted light NNE Monday and equally light
Southerly Tuesday. So not the planned perfect start but, it can ply get better, right?
But better than work and Sydney traffic!
We will update as we make our way, North with planned stops at stops every night if possible?
cheers Richard
