DWF and Robg summed it up really well. Go Foil is solid and predictable with 95% of the performance of the latest greatest (Code, Lift X series, Omen, etc.). If you want another 3%, buy the pedestal and a Marlin so you can point that thing downhill a bit more. Many people are put off by having to carry around the mallet but in fact it's useful as a persuader on other brands mast/fuse connections too.

Thatspec, wait until you see the 2 new models

Any brand or ambassador that needs to bag out others to try and gain market share has lost me.

I don't see any "bagging" going on here & there's definitely no bad blood from our side....especially to gain market share...it's interesting how people interpret things but that's the beauty of a "forum"

That will be cool to test out
Every time I jump back on my RS850 / 14 Marlin setup it's just a perma-grin. Then back on to my Lift X setup and it's way less relaxing but "zippier".... trade offs.

Had hoped to pick up a P1500 before leaving the Gorge but there was no solid ETA.

Magic happens for me when the 850 is paired with the 10.5. I like the 850 with the 12 tail but the 10.5l brings out something special.

I used the first of the new production P-Series with the new Race tail yesterday on a 20kn ocean downwinder & other than needing a little time to get used to the twitchiness of the new tail the new wings performed amazingly & look awesome to boot...Photos & pricing coming soon...Available late Nov early Dec...

Conditions are key and you can use any foil in 2023 if you have the conditions, don't buy into any hype is my recommendation.

Yet you bought into the Code foils hype

I bought into the hype of other brands for sure 100% only to be left disappointed even in 2023, so after losing a few thousand selling gear that didn't meet my needs, I bought code. Honestly, I didn't realise there was hype around the code foils. I just watched some locals ripping on it, and some of their youtube videos, no regrets whatsoever and it's the best thing I have done for my foiling journey, definitely a sleeping giant in the foiling world, but be warned, if you try code you'll probably buy it.

Yeah, my days of buying foils before trying them are over. Some brands(uni progression) have enough of a presence that most people have a buddy with one at their local and can try that way but I think most brands need to invest in their demo program going forward.
