I too would stay with the contrast pad, that one looks really nice and gives the deck some perspective... (oh errr) You already have a dark'ish Board deck, the pad will lift it a little.

Unless you don't ever wash you feet in which case go poo Brown

The more I look at it, the more I want one !

That tail, that tail looks blinking fast.

You're getting better updates than I did.
And I didn't think that would be possible....

ACIDS are awesome boards ...some people don't like them as they can be wobbly to balance on ,but a small price to pay for performance ,
I ride my 9,1 125 litre Acid most days ,I'm 98 kgs ,On really big rough days ,i thought it would be nice to have one just a bit bigger ,simular to my 130 flow i had ,which was fantastic in back wash and side waves ,pretty sure it was the 131 litres and 31 wide plus my weight that made for a easy surf on rough days ,so here it is in those measurements ,
the 115 litre 8,10 would be a good size for you .its the only SUP i've owned that can cut across really steep faces and feel really comfortable ,(high on the wave) I love the shape ,stay posted ,it gonna be a exciting week ...for this board .yeow. I can't wait to see the gloss black .my first custom ,so I'm frothing .
its one of Berts favourites .He gets excited talking about it on the vid .

just thought I'D add, the 9,1 is as small as i could ride for my weight and age .

i can still throw it around .

So the black resin has soaked in, the rest been scrubbed off?
Apart from the rails, mine was the same - black left on the carbon rails (sorry Gizzie)
My rails / sides came out as very dark red / possibly black.
After some use, the black rails are very prone to showing damage / paddle hits.

How long have you been sup surfing? At 77kg you could go a lot smaller. I was riding the 8'7 106L when I got my weight below 90kg, but I had beed riding Acid for a year+, and sup-surfing for about 3 years. It is a fun board!

Well it's been sanded again fin plugs in place and ready for paint ...black ..and Deep purple yeow ..
the last coat of glass was the filler ,so paint then the gloss finish .but still a bit to go ..

when I ordered ,I requested no fins needed ,have plenty ,no mast track need .which normally comes with most sunova boards .

2 half years as thinking of selling my custom 8,5 flow 31 wide 122 litres and get on to a acid just thought I wouldn't go too small cause I don't want to have to much work I'd be happy with a acid 29 wide to get on rail
are these boards that different to what I'm riding

hey happy .I can't really comment on the 115 acid because i haven't ridden it because I'm too heavy ,but can compare the 8,10 flow with the 9,1,acid
or I also have a 30,25 ,120 litre 8,7 flow .which is a little ripper .The acid seems to be nicer in the pocket being a rounded pin ,also you will notice a lot of difference going to a narrower board ,they feel more free, and zippy .the acid also has more rocker ,so it will be a lot tippier to ride than your 31 wide 122,but once up and going you would love it ,if you buy one i still would hang onto your flow .

cantsupenough, will fill you in on his 115 ,8,10 . it seems to be his goto board now .

The 8'10 115L Acid is my goto board, but right now I have 20 Kg on you (and I either need to move up to the 9'1 or lose a few kgs). I wish there was a way for you to try my 8'10 and 8'7 so you can test how they feel... I would be looking at the 8'7 if you were keeping your Flow.

The 8'10 is my go to board too and I have 10kg on you. Burt probably won't like this, but you can ride the Acid 'oversized' and be stable in the chop and still rip. Kinda cheating really.
