Cheers guy's.
I'm from Vic, surf around the West Coast. Made the move to Longboards a few years ago for a change and haven't looked back since.
Yes indeed it's a rare wagon. As far as I know it's the only rhd 9 passenger Parkwood dealer delivered in '61.
Cool mate, looks grouse with the dragways? and bullet caps and of coarse the whitewalls set her off nicelyI love the five spoke wheel with whitewall tyre look(classical),I've got the old Tasmans for mine and whitewalls but I just took them off recently to repaint them!...
What motor is in it 283 or blue flame 6

Just joined up and have been browsing. I love my old wagons as much as I do my surfing. Finally got my 1961 Aus delivered, rhd, 9 passenger Parkwood on the road. Plates are SURF-61

Original 283 small block which I've resealed and prettied up, all original spec and 2 speed powerglide albeit a later model alloy powerglide and not the original cast iron one.
Wheels are genuine Astro Supreme's from the USA.

Niice engine bay looks great, well done
Geez that would have to be one of the best prepped mill bays ever - just looks so natural.
