Provided they don't charge more, I'm fine with a slightly smaller bottle, I do the sums and they're definitely still cheaper than Corona.
while we are on grog,as the great molly would say, do yourself a favour. dan murphys have this maple flavoured vodka for $29.
this stuff is the bomb straight on ice.
spot on OB and I've never had a foxy SOL but had plenty of foxy coronas .
Binny by the glass overlooking some 6ft bombs - upmarket . Enjoy the break SP. Hope you get some surf time. Cobra - nice looking fridge - Ricardo - +1 re nice shower
got on the that vodka with the bloke next door and bird across the road,,,**** she was smashed thinking about it i was average
Fridge still looks a lot like this only there is less James Squire Fifty Lashes, saved a 6 pack for Chrissy along with some Coopers Pale Ale which now occupies the salad bowl space along with a 6 pack of Fat Yak Pale Ale I'm looking forward to trying for the 1st time & 3 more Berri Estate Rose due to a 3 for $ sale I couldn't pass up...2 kegs are not available till mid Jan now Coopers Canadian Blonde with 3 assorted hops per keg that is meant to taste like James Squire Chancer ......great pix boys, have a good one
Picked up a 6 pack of Fat Yak Pale Ale 345ml stubbies during a promotion for $10. Normal price is $50 a carton...its ok slightly better than a lot of cheaper beers I guess but way overpriced for what it is considering its only slightly better. Bit dissapointed really & its one of those less than 375ml boutique size beers that are coming out these days. I mean really, if your gonna rip off the Aussie consumer pricing your beer at $50. At least have the decency to size your beers to 375mls. Actually if you sized your beers to the typical Euro size of 500mls I'd feel a lot more positive about the beer at your regular price. But nope, Coopers Pale Ale kicks azz on this beer & are a respectful 375mls for a couple of extra $ at regular price & Steamrail Pale Ale which also tastes heaps better than Fat Yak Pale Ale, albeit a measly 330mls feels like a reasonable price in comparison for the rip off state of West Oz at $40....Sorry Fat Yak Pale Ale, your a top of the bottom range beer at a premium price, thumbs down from me.
Yeah, the Fat Yak is OK, for mass beer...
Coopers is the BEST! For several reasons... Completely Australian and Family Owned... Quality drop... Fits into the EU Beer Purity Laws...
I mix it up with Stella Cans too (500ml)... why?... Taste Good. Squishes down nice in the recycle bin... The wife prefers me to only have 2 beers... 2 x 500ml = 1 Litre = lots better than 2 x 330ml !! Lots of Laughs!
Anything. And lots of it
Back from being away yesterday and on the tools today.. this office boy is ready for a beer..
And it's on again tomorrow to finish the diy hell, touch warmer then today. Expected to touch 40...
Well it's in the keg now carbonating, but there just happened to be a glass or two left over for tasting. My version of a Stone & Wood Pacific Ale, I've added a little more hops for a bit of extra bitterness. So far even uncarbonated it's the bomb!!!
Also thought I'd compare it against the real thing while I'm waiting.
What base wort & hops did you use mate
My Canadian Blonde plus cascade/hallertau/amarillo hops 4 week old beer came out pretty decent. Not quite like I'd been aiming (james Squire Chancer) but yeah pretty decent. Not holding back on the hops & being more patient before getting into it was definately a plus. But look forward to the next go with a different mix of hops.
How'd the comparison go
