Just taking the P155 ! Hope you boys get some waves over there. I guess-timating by the timing of your last posts Mick that its your "Friday' night - hope you had a good one
Surfed a 2 foot reef break...wind and tide were a bit wrong but its all good when your surf by yourself
Surf started off bumpy then cleaned right up for a excellent session. Hardly a soul around and was cool watching peeps on the next bank slotting in,just a great angle.
Nah not your kiss mate - it's just not there & the wind will switch pretty soon too Mick had me drooling all night but no froth for me today
Lasted 20 minutes today . Too paranoid about that Noah that's hanging around. It was spotted this morning shadowing a school of Salmon. Not many out surfing . Noticed in the news there's a big one hanging around Newcastle as well. My regular spot should be ok tomorrow when the wind comes back around NE.
Reports from down here reckon its a white pointer around 15 feet or more long and a tiger shark as well. The flags were up this morning but not many takers. I heard its a big white pointer up there as well.
I was in Newcastle for a meeting this morning and swung past Merewether around 7:30am and counted 3 blokes on body boards - the rest of the place was deserted. Weird ! ! ! But to be fair I would be staying out as well.
Even though we are not very far from you SP I have not even thought about them whilst surfing the last few days. Weird for me.
SMH - that thing down your way sounds far to big for my liking ! ! ! Maybe you should just be on the 666 until it heads away
Well I went back to the scene of the crime ugly. Straight bump-just like the day my board hit me except smaller
To tell the truth I was a bit hesitant first but finished with a good left ,a back hand rio and avoided my board
local beach closed here on the weekend after a shark siting - turned out to be a seal .
2 of us surfed quite happily with him on Tuesday night .Big bugger but didn't worry about us .
was a surfer chased out of the same beach few years back by another obviously much crankier seal .
talking to a few local fishermen been a few big ( really big ) great whites spotted off the coast here the last few weeks
