It'd be really ironic
That if this thing even existed
Greenroom cops a big lungfull of it and gets quarantined in a city hospital and spends the next few years on a ventilator.

Or they don't lift the bans for 3 months and he's stuck down south over winter with the constant onshores and no escape up north or to Bali.

Haha nice hand grenade / wind up Green Room metro has been pretty ordinary and flat at my local so enjoy certainly the place to get isolated.

Those photos are not mine. I got them off a Facebook page and the person was from Perth giving the bird at the fact that the shire had put witches hats on every second car park. He went on to say that he enjoyed a surf at Main Break with 20 plus people and all from out of town.
I tried finding the post again but has been removed.
I don't care what anyone says. I'm telling it how it is for once. If you don't like it or disagree, then you are the kook in this thread. Again, Too bad, so sad.

Dude, there's places to go in all wind directions and other things to do like windsurf, surf foil, fish and even mountain biking. All conditions covered

GR I agree with what you're saying dude, people just need to do what's needed - if they don't then it's just gonna screw things up for longer and put more of a strain on our services etc.

I just don't get why you need to wind people up, not a great move but whatever..

Your avatar is also really annoying.

the Quobba guys out of Margs were saying that the police/rangers(?) were issuing fines today in the carpark if your license didn't show you were local.

Guys, ease up on greenroom. Since moving down south two or three years ago he's had to endure ridicule and humiliation as a blow-in SUP rider. But finally he's progressed one rung up the ladder and can look with contempt upon that most heinous subclass - The Metro. Things will go back to normal soon enough but let's let him have his moment in the sun.

I saw a local pull the valves from two tyres of a camper with three Italians in it. Right next to them was a troopy with three Hipsters who got the same treatment. The guy who was jack of people ignoring social distancing and of tourists. I wasn't about to stop him btw. It was a lesser known spot where he had some privacy. I also heard of a turd getting smeared on someone's windscreen at one of the more popular spots. People aren't happy.

I got told at work - yep still got a bit - by a couple of Vicco's that they have been abused a couple of times. I don't condone it, but people are scared and there are restrictions in place for a reason. THEY WILL SAVE LIVES!

The stay in your own region vibe is pretty strong down here. People don't want selfish out of towners flouting the law now or into the future. I hope they catch and fine hundreds over Easter and then maybe the message will get through.

Six months isn't that long to wait surely?

GR - go you good thing! You are one voice with an army behind you.

For those who have just joined us let me introduce to you Seabreeze's jealous, metro, cry babies
Our Premier, Prime Minister and the rest of the world are saying STAY THE **** HOME!
The locals all want you to stop thinking of your own selfish lives and listen. You just have to turn on the TV to see how serious it is. That's why there are borders in place. No one wants you here! Like Drip said I'm the voice with an army behind me.
Just so all you "Six Hour Round Trip Val's" don't forget what it looks like, I'll post some photos of beautiful surf here
This is going to be the best Easter EVER!

Flat earth, 5G, fake virus. Probably an anti-vaccer too. Oh and climate change.

Evidence based thinking is relevant only when the evidence is provided by conspiracy theory butt jobs (originally was typing "nut" then autocorrect popped up with "but". I added the extra "t" because it seemed appropriate ).

i hope you get a massive fine and locked up like that Victorian fool in Perth a few days ago.

I think it's great
Those that live in the region, pay rates, work, contribute to the local community etc etc get to actually enjoy the benefits of living there without the hordes trying to take over
It won't last obviously but there's too many places in the world that the crowds have destroyed and to get a break from it is a well deserved rest for most
Lets face it, Perth people don't have the best reputation for traveling

Are you new to the south west too? It's been destroyed by crowds for a fair while. And by fair while I'm measuring in decades.

This thread is entertaining

What isn't entertaining is how many self righteous people are amongst us, here we have every element required for entertainment.
Localism from people who have only lived in an area for a few years
people who have surfed in an area for more than thirty years being denied access
People who haven't surfed in an area ever or rarely breaking laws and being idiots to get "uncrowded" waves which are more crowded currently than ever......

Massive unemployment and a transient population consisting off interstate visitors, p platers. Hipsters, foreigners and grey nomads.

If you were to check the crowd at cowermup last week or trigg point every day this week it's clear that surfers are absolute selfish pricks, I know as I am one , however in all seriousness at current I am not surfing and do not see it happening in near future.

The crowds down south right now are worse than at Easter most years already

The crowds in Perth at current are worse than they have been for a long time, there is soooo many unemployed people with free time and cheap fuel on their hands.

People are selfish, localism, inconsiderate travellers , people still surfing in crowds....

dont give me the yeah yeah we were two metres away and the crowds are civil and everyone is doing the right thing.
They are not you know it , I know it, it's a veiled excuse to justify poor behaviour and no concern for other citizens.

100 people out at huzzas is not being considerate and careful
full carpark at the spot with 80 people in the water is no being considerate or civil or doing the right thing

Trigg point with 50 people out everyday for the last two weeks all day every day is the same.

They are going to **** the beaches and it's because of people like us, like all of us to blame.

Your all guilty , it is all your fault, and people who just want to find a bank by themselves or surf a b grade wave by themselves are going to suffer because 50 people paddle out at trigg point and 100 at huzzas.

Being a surfer right now means you are inconsiderate and selfish.

It's funny how people on here think they know me.
My grandma was born in Margaret River in 1926. I was also born in Margaret River in 1977. Yes there's a street named after her and actually a suburb towards Perth with my families name.
