I had my eye on the cams, and while it looked like constant work, I saw some nice rides. Well done, anonymous frothers!

That sux m8, hope ya mend quick. I really don't think your supposed to surf so much in winter without an Indo trip with lots of massages to recharge on. Last year I was getting all these lower back pains & a dodgy left shoulder for like 6 weeks. All came good after about 4 days in Bali.

Wishing you well too Grevas & cheers for the advice. I always surf with a hat, keeps the sun off in summer & the noggin a lil warmer in the winter. Also good for when its pissing down with rain like the other day.

Yeah had to hide all the sharp objects in the house once it became clear Indo was off

I had a hip/lower back problem for a while which was causing me major problems with feet placement and getting up, a mate recommended a local physio, just one visit with a bit of pain, 1/2 a doz acupuncture needles stuck in me (I fu(ken hate needles but I had to do something) and magic now all good.

But my knee is shot (on the way to a grade 2 tear) at least 4 weeks maybe 6 hyper extended in a barrel of all things.

Was supposed to get back from NE Japan trip, Sendai to Mutsu last week & would of headed over to Bali at the end of next month. Singapore has given our money back. Garuda gave us a credit till the end of next year, unless they extend I'm thinking that moneys gone

The chiro to the right of IGA does acupuncture as well, worked well with a dodgy shoulder couple of years ago. He hooks the needles up & has this electro pulse machine that makes the muscles spasm & then used like a wax comb on my shoulder which is meant to break up damaged muscle to allow healing. Something like that, the wax comb bit hurts but it seems to have fixed the problem.

Knees are a problem, hope it comes good for ya m8.

Braved the dark n chilly waters this morning only to have Hueyyouelbastardoputadafinacabrone laugh at me For an hour with fat closeouts and semi promising peaks turning into gutless fat closeouts..... he must have felt pity ,,,,,or more sick humour....as my last two waves produced high 8s ( enough to progress ) but left me with the distinct feeling that better was to come as the morning advanced....then work happened

you taunt me but I shall persevere, oh yes you will provide

Hey Mocha, nice board... A Perko? I just noticed the trundle wheel in the top corner. You're a sport teacher, right? Are you knee deep in athletics? Off topic, but I can relate. Kids love the trundle! And they love sport!

Back on topic, could you shoot me a message, or someone inform me, about how to order a Perko? I looked up their website and facebook but there were not any ordering instructions. Do you call him direct?

Yeah board looks nice Mocha. Coby, Perko's son is making boards these days too. They were advertising on gumtree but probably have enough work to keep them going without advertising these days.

.......In betweeny day here today, little big for the beachy I've been surfing the last 2 weeks & too small for the reefs. Bigger than predicted & wnat the buoys are showing, bit more westerly direction. Should be good tomorrow, perfect time for PD I've done at least 20 times before...

C'mon mocha, surely, unless you were chained to an esky, you got plenty of frothing coverage today. Tell us about it.

Cheers Huey & Mother Nature - good swell, light winds and low crowds from what I can only assume is a result of a visit from the man in the grey overcoat earlier in the week.

Did notice a change of shifts in the crew as the morning wore on, super early on was crew who got along and did the righty for each other replaced by the crew later on with reckless abandon, diresgad for etiquette and just generally acting like a-holes.

A-holes must sleep in??

Went North, had fun until the fun stopped...Huey realised what was going on and turned it funky and 5hit after 3 hours of fun...a couple ran for 100m or more
huey is no longer an elbastardoputacabrone...but he/she/it is only a heartbeat away from re-entering that zone.

Second shift Northern beachie - looked quite average with a bit of wind ruffle and the bigger ones being straight. However, fun was had. Just sat there and picked off the ones with shoulders - a bag full of lefts and rights, with a nice shoulder high right to the beach to finish. And to think I nearly didn't go out

Surfed some outer reef bombs on my 6'6 Boyd Purdy. Had 3 good ones & 3 closeouts before I was done. Bit unfit atm, young blokes were going off
