Good waves outta town today good early but by golly the crowds filled in by 8-830
had a peak with a mate for an hour solo prior to crowds than there was 10 or so on it
waist height consistent with three head height ones every 20 minutes
yep, my travel was rewarded....
I reckon Tearooms probably has a wave
Welcome back..did you need a wettie today Suba

Maybe, just maybe, if I'd actually gone out.I am looking to buy my first new (non work related) wetsuit in about a decade
Some good ones if you were patient and missed the mega back-washes... big drift and a lot of paddling at times, but I got 3 or 4 clean over-head rippers that made me
Backwash was dangerous at Secret Spot X, not so bad 100m closer to not so secret spot XX.some very good waves though.
travelled yesterday and did very well
Haven't reported in ages
hello everyone I've been getting waves here and there
i got a couple novelty waves in the last month or so all time one place I hadn't surfed since 25 years ago it was nostalgic and just a blissful surf with a couple old mates
i worked
I worked

I got a reef off a fishing town for a week there was another reef but we just surfed the one every day except I think the Wednesday where we surfed the other one the Friday we didn't surf the Saturday we did the Sunday we were hungover about 25 hours of surfing in a week

we live we surf we live again
In a classic case of "you should have been here yesterday" when I couldn't... today was no where near as good as yesterday...
Some funnish shoulder > head high lefts out at Trigg, but that NNE wind was messing it up a bit, and it was bloody freezing too! Still, got a few and it was better than being at work.
So who else has scored the last few days??? Onshore tomorrow and then a lack of swell for the next week at least
Huey is back on my Chrissie Card list...fckuk him though if you depend on weekends
got my arse handed to me today at Y'all's
big bumpy West swell and 6'2 epoxy don't play nice together.I drowned twice, died two times and still defecated In my wettie on the last of 3 waves.ridden to preserve life...and hide from what was behind them
I was humbled
have never seen Golden Mile carpark empty..lefties, noisies, lil ulus etc too wild...South Point and Nth Point poo
pub good
Well, well, well. Today was quite the pleasant surprise.
It was smoking by Perth standards!!!
Given it was so wild and big on Wednesday it is amazing to see that it is glassy and a touch over head high at the metro beachies today... good whilst it lasts, but the swell is dropping FAST. Get out there today if you can...
Some Thumping Swell about the place today.
paddled a lot, a very very lot up North, got some long waves and paddled some more.
got a thumping and a flogging back at Scarborough later i the day, some good rides had in between.
Although the swell did not reach its reported potential, it was very nice to spend a couple of hours catching some glassy waves... whilst a lot of places looked crowded, I paddled off 300m+ to find a space with only 3 or 4 others... bit of a wait between sets, but no competition when they came through
3 surfs today at secret spot x metro.a few others know the secret but a good day, even went all gromy and surfed in the light onshore this arvo before a well deserved beer
thanx huey
Better than it looked. I took the middle shift hitting the water at 9:00am (thinking I had left it too late), and got a few periods where it cleaned up nicely and there were a few coming through with some shape... Always nice when you have a session better than expected
RIP to dear old mate Bakesy, may you endure endless pits and 10kilo Dhubangers (with the odd Wirrah to break the monotony) Rest well mate.
Windier and rippier than it should have been 1+ hrs North... Around chest high peaks with very short walls... and the usual chunks of weed. Crowded without being hectic. Weekend Warrior score: 4/10
