Similar edit but more shaky than Glynn and Sue's (no idea how you hold that camera steady Sue, even on a tripod mine was still shaking).
Thanks Berowne for making a Windsurftv Send It Sunday worthy clip. Excellent work, i'll send it in. Have you got onboard footage of it? Get in touch and we can send it all together.
race 2, i think..

That was a brilliant stack at c 6 mins.. he wasn't going to let it get the best of him! but it did..
I think I hit a fish or something. which set of a chain of events. I tried to save it. but then as I bounced off the water the acceleration had me leaning backwards and I knew I was headed for the sky. up up up and over she goes!

We tried using a tripod but we found the wind shakes it plus it was too jurky so Sue just uses the view finder and it's unrestrictive and the screen has display modes she can keep a sailor in the box.

Some professional photographers use a weight hanging in between the tripod legs to stabilise it
Provisional Results are on the Windsurfing NSW - Big thanks to Ian for noting places from the boat and Dave for compiling the scores!

I miss you all but live too far now and have 4 grandchildren
The Crew has decided that Saturday looks the best for racing.
If anyone can help by bringing a mate or volunteering for start boat duties we would all appreciate it! Meet at the north side of coal point for first race start at Noon. maps.app.goo.gl/2afuugTQbgF7Eq9c6?g_st=com.google.maps.preview.copy
Great spot and some good races last year in similar conditions!
The state slalom titles are on this weekend Friday 29 November to Sunday 1st December at Myal Shores NRMA caravan park.
There are quite a few a few people going up early to have a sail and good time and there are people already there enjoying the serenity.
There were two sites available yesterday but be quick because they will go quickly if not already gone.
Events like this require participation to keep them going for all to enjoy this wonderful sport we all love.
it's open to fin , foil windsurf or wing.
It's a great place to sail and even better place to hang out with friends and enjoy the wildlife and good times.
see you all there.
ps I am going up early as well maybe Wednesday.
If you haven't already paid for the whole series, you can enter this weekends event individually for only $75. Please do this before the weekend as internet access is patchy on site. Link below:

Hi all
unfortunately due to a very poor forecast for both days the committee has elected to cancel this weekends event and reschedule for a date to be confirmed at the end of the season, where we hope for more consistency to ensure maximum attendance.
Not sure why you have posted a pic of the Sydney forecast, I thought the event was at Lake Macquarie. Sunday forecast looks like a moderate NE.
Next event 11th or 12th at Lake Macquarie. Exact venue and date tbd.
Note we cancelled the Sydney event due to lack of interest and difficulty securing support from GRSC for the style of event we wanted.
Slalom Racing (Wing/Fin/Foil) is locked in for Saturday. Briefing at 11am and racing afterwards.
Location is Belmont Slipways. Carpark entry from "The Shores Way".
Pre-registration available for $25 at marmongpointsc.square.site
Good crew on the water. Thanks Ian and Mick for volunteering on the water.
Great races across the fleet. I had a few epic battles with Remi, Byron, Muz - amazing to see a 6-7m foil sail compete against a 9m slalom sail! oh and Conner on a 5m wing and matching 550 foil gave me a run for my money but I got him on the last few metres for a 2nd!
Tibor and Barry had a photo finish.
Couple of missed gybes let me down but good fun clean racing!
