I had a short sail, fair bit of wind but i was out in chop all the same still good to be on the water

SURFFX Burrum Windfest update
Due to the current COvid19 situation the event organizers have decided to cancel the event including all social events. All previous notice of race and sailing instructions are null and void.
The organizing committee has decided to make the event an online group. This will mean that entrants who were unable to travel to Burrum Heads, Qld can still register in the Burrum 2020 group and sail from any spot.

Competition is officially off. That's too bad but that's fair enough with all that's going on. Club support boat is still on hand for safety and that's great. See yas tomorrow arvo. ..(forecast looking good now too.)
Lets look forward to next year ..i was one that had to pull the pin ,was so looking forward to it ,
but lets see what speeds we can come up with through the week ..stay healthy everyone .happy sailing you lucky dudes at Burrum .
It would be great if some of the competitors who manage to get a sail at home or other spots could put up some photos so we can all share our experiences in these difficult times.
The 2020 SurfFX has been CANCELLED as previously stated. There is no competition running either online or at Burrum Heads
