Great to see another club in the mix and congratulations to the team who have put it together. I'm looking forward to seeing what you guys come up with for the members (and the wider community as memberships cross between all the affiliated clubs - if you didn't know).

Managed to Mount the Sony on the Batten , just behind the boom, seems to give a great effect and experience of what we see while Windsurfing....Enjoy
Whilst you guys have been enjoying yourself out on the water I have been busy designing the official GCWC handshake.
Based heavily on the Hawaiian method, it will pay special tribute to the Maui version used by our spiritual fore bearers, while seamlessly including some unique Gold Coast movements.

New Membership Now Open
The GCWC are now taking new memberships and membership renewals for the 2018 / 19 new season. New 24- hour insurance is included in the membership starting from July 1. (for the new financial year period) So lets all get in and support our local club. This year we intend on having more social events and liaising with local authorities so we are not forgotten.

hey guys (GCWC particularly) . I'm a new member and past windsurfer ( a long time ago. Very long....I lived in Malaysia for 18+ years and have connections in most areas. Recently asked by an ex business partner to resubmit plans for a major windsurfing event and need to discuss details with an experienced event organiser here on the Goldy. I particularly need to discuss whether our planned event is too long? Pretty well everything else is under control.The Malaysian government is keen to introduce several unique sporting events and i had this one planned about 10 years ago. The PM and various ministers were aware of our plans back then and are now keen to resurrect it. Please respond here and we'll exchange emails, phone numbers or meeting place.
