Yeah, don't need a wetty here...
This week is looking good if the rain stays away.
Drop me a line if you head up for it.

Tomorrow is looking the goods with a bit of brown coming through in the afternoon, could be some good 9m weather? What are the waves like too? If its cross-off-shore I recon it will be the go.
Did anyone else head out today?

Did I see your Griffen late this arvo?
Looked like you had a leak?
Today was small. Not photo worthy.

Yeh i was fully powered up on my 7.5m griffin! That is my smallest in my quiver and hardly use it, probably why it had a leak. Oh well i did hate that kite anyway.. off to buy a new 7m, different brand this time hoping for much better service and quality. I might see you out tomorrow?

Yeah, take my 8m Reo out.
It'll feel much nicer unhooked compared to your old kite.

Yeah will most likely be at Peggies. If the swell is what it's meant to be it should be good ! Just hoping it's not belting with rain too.

Didn't even bother today. Went and bought fishing gear instead. A few guys got out for a sail down the coast , culburra I think.

Was possible in the north Illawarra between 10.30 to 11.30.. And had a thought at one stage...my excuse was the tide did not suit...Tony A

had a go at Nth Narrabeen this afternoon on my 9m TRX. It's a good gust muncher but was getting pushed to its limit. High 30knt rainy gusts with sloppy waves is an experience rather than a decent session

7m tomorrow i think

you know its serious when you're floating your inverted kite to the beach and seriously struggling to hold it down, and when the wind sand is biting into your legs when tying on and tying off

Was out at Long reef from 1-4pm today. Got lucky with only slight drizzle of rain for the most of it. Lots of Easterly in that Southerly, made it tricky to get behind the break. Solid 30kn with some crazy gusts. But once through, the bombies were firing! Germans was rolling high too. Epic session. Only 2 of us in the Bombies. 6m Neo. Yeeeeeeow!

Stay safe guys! I just went down to Clovelly for a look and its crazy out there, was hard going just walking into the wind! 2m kite would probably get you flying today!

Waves were pumping today!
Four foot and a very up and down 15kn offshore.
Got a couple, kept the kite dry.
Just not the best for kiting.

Surfingboye how is the wind been lately? I'm moving up on the 21st and hoping to catch up and surf some waves.

Strong and offshore.
I had a kite on Saturday, wind was off shore and light.
Was losing ground and couldn't get back to sure, packed down on the water and swam in over the rocks.
Nil gear damage, happy days.

Tried to have a kite at peggies , was a bit windy in the squals. Ended up having a windsurf but was way overpowered , plenty of swell about. Anyone get in?

Haha, I tried to kite around Shellharbour.
Mega gusty, my kite fell out of the sky three times before I got off the beach. Got to the wave and the wind had other ideas, only just able to float and keep the kite flying.
Winter can reward or punish efforts to score; it was punishment today!

Ha ha , yep was hard work today. Peggies had a bit of west off the beach so had the same dramas ! Maybe tomorrow might be a bit cleaner.
