Finally after such cold weather and not being busy elsewhere I got to try out the new Hatchet fin at Sorrento. Had a fair bit on onshore wind and some good chop but that was what I was looking for to see how much stability this fins provides.
40min paddling with the cross wind and 40min cross headwind back, good workout and lots of stability added to a stable board as it is, but in a DW it will help me get use to chasing bumps until I get better at DWers.
Gerro, 7 mile beach. A few nice waves till the wind swept me way down wind. Bonus was that I got to go windsurfing after
6am training with the dolphin pod at Beaumaris.
Gotta paddle hard to keep them interested.
Mental note for the umpteenth time...take camera!

Seals mixed up in there too doing the "No one here but us dolphins" thing.
Haven't seen them do that on the Bay before, only on Westernport where I assume they hang with the dolphins for shark protection.
Or maybe I've watched too much Flipper.............
hero 4 silver 1080 60fps.......protune on......white balance turned way down low. But was sunny.......could be different on cloudy day.
But tempted to turn protune off and do auto white balance. And i was stingy on my anti fog inserts
Town beach......very nice early when just me and the tow ball out......softened up a bit when tide came in ......found time to grab a camera or two

Nice pics ! It was good to have the air temperature warmer than the water for a change !!!
Looks nice Gboots......i have same problem with the breeze when i post pics from my phone.......ends up crooked. But if i post pic from pc is all good......Makorori "centres" for me today........occasional "very exciting waves"..........peaks up and charges off in occasionally different directions
