Got out on the weekend in around 2.5m reef break.

Normal break was wall to wall kooks, figured why add to the chaos and paddled south 500m to share a wicked break with 3 guys.

Next target is the weekend.... Roll on Sunday.

Anyone that intentionally drops in on someone else is a kook in my book, don't care if they can shred or not.

My other definition of a kook is anyone that shows no respect for personal space, anyone that snakes you and paddles in front of you as your are taking a wave, anyone that avoids the white water and paddles into your wave face right in front of you.

And anyone that does these things repeatedly is also a dog, bitch, bugger, bastard.

Not to forget someone who will remain anonymous for kooking the late drop on a 3m ripper right in front of everyone

All went well until I was riding thin air.

You forgot people that don't use feet and inches for wave heights and surfboard.

Good to hear you got out there.

Too right, stupid tossers who post adds in metric when selling their boards, 1.85m surfboard. And just in case you are really stupid it's a tri fin thruster.

And then they tell you about the 1.753m swell that was pumping, all measured on their calibrated wank meters.

It's like the site I use to check surf conditions, seriously guys? Wave height in metres?

They all be kooks as well.

Lucky for me I was around during the metric revolution and we had all the conversion factors drummed into us.

Last 2 days have been rather fun. 3-5' and 8/10 said the surf report today. Crowds early that dissapate as the morning went on. Light offshores and low tide through to mid tide was the pick. Fast, too fast for many.

Saw some great shortboard waves at Broadbeach and Main Beach this morning, any shortboarder with skill would have loved it out there this morning not like that pussy weak sh-t south of Burleigh.

After taking a walk around Burleigh with the fam, and desperately wishing I'd bought a board (and could ditch the family), Burleigh was the call this morning. Great little session - but I was on the 12'.

Last couple of weeks have been great at both Palmy and Tugun, with Tugun generally having better banks.

Worse its been all year.
Hands down head to palmy.
