Surfed Metts this morning with a fair chunk of swell arriving late yesterday. Was the biggest I have had the SUP out in thats for sure!
Got lucky getting out, scored a gap in the shorey. Managed a couple of drops on the 10' Vex, bloody good fun.
Water was warm, pretty much glass, it was crowded but a friendly vibe for the most part.
Zip City at Manly today. Could not even get a birthday shred in. Still recovering from last weeks 4 day massive shred session at Green Island and the Golf Course at Mollymook.
Slater giving sea breeze a sharka.
That's a fun looking peeler behind you guys.
pERTH metro reefs cranking today. quite high tide yet still some nice pits to be had at those spots that can currently handle swell without sand in place. best metro surf in a while. still buzzing. dutchies rights were my poison. recon the artificial reef will be on when tide drops.
Took the Venoms out at Manly this morning. It was like a lake :-(
That's porn. How can the site mods allow this ?
Been surfing town beach every day.......mostly just by myself as am bridging the gap between the "paddle out in the dark" surfers and the "wait until the sun is shining" guys. Good surf up coast so the masses have been going there.
People call in to the car park......look at beach for 4 or 5 minutes......and don't see the 10 or 15 minute big sets.....but that's okay Got dealt to by a big wave on my PSH 12'6 yesterday.......my impact vest is getting stretchy. It ripped it off me and over my head without even asking my opinion :)

The 10 or 15 minute sets are the best. And they take patience. The only people with patience like that is old c**** on SUPs. Go hard grizzly.
Invy main main beach in a bit of onshore slop. Tried some smaller quad fins which helped a lot in the chop
Bailed work at bit early and got a surfSUP at Killy cemetery. Missed the best bits by an hr but still some nice waves to be had. ??
No where for a few days with trip to Adelaide to pick up the PSH.
Checked out Long Beach north of Robe.
Would have been nice but almost constant rain, and 20 knot onshore winds coupled with 12 degree air temperature did not make it inviting.
Ended up with a nice sunset though.
Another great surf at Killy with a fair crew. Lots of peaks to play with so heaps of waves for everyone
Briefly (very) Sunday afternoon at Ventnor on the new PSH.
Two foot wind chop, seemed to turn in its' own length.
Had to stand further back than expected - volume distribution tricky.
Longer paddle Monday after work at Beaui, tracks nicely in a straight line, and turns in its' own length.
Not at all tippy, didn't fall apart on contact with water.
Removed crappy rail tape that I think was yellow book binding tape.
Very happy.
Re finned based on colour.
Next a surf before deciding how much cotton wool to wrap him in.
