Seem to be surfing town beach all the time at the moment. This morning was glassy with three or four peaks peeling off occasionally. Couldn't help myself.......paddled out on my PSH 12'6 .....was good

Aggy main beach.
My youngest and I ventured out early, him on my minion, me on my Laguna Bay. Not much in the way of waves, but a beaut morning anyway.
We spied a pod of dolphins and headed out to say good morning.
My son cried out "Geez that's a big one!"
I said "If it has a triangle fin, head back in!"
I looked to my left just in time to see a whale break the surface. And not just one. Wow. I'd never seen one so close up, or so close to the beach. I was in awe.
We paddled alongside for about a kilometer before they looped back out to sea.
Right place, right time.

9'5 Soul, cuz the wind was stupid gusty. lots of cross chop and backwash. Plus it was cold

I could not get 2 leave passes in one weekend, yesterday was warmer though!!

StKilda this morning, air temp 10 water temp bloody chilly. Why do photos from my phone always load upside down!!!!
The only day I did not take my GoPro and I had a Seal swim next to me, typical!!!!!
Makorori today.......only one person out on the whole beach when I took these pics.
Caught a few waves at the point but was very windy......so fled back to town beach
