Agnes main beach. Up the guts on my deep jc 9'2". Bordering on extreme sup surfing in gusts up to 30 knots. Got some nice sucky head high drops on the outgoing. Stuffed but stoked.
Half Moon Bay and northwards.
Look out, the F16 is ready for Take Off.
ET.
Dawn patrol at a protected metro spot this morning, nice conditions and a good way to start the day. Me and a mate practising paddling in surf stance - it sure makes it easier to rock bak and turn around quickly!
Missed out on the magic afternoons this week, bummed but yo can't win them all! Dawn's are so much more stressful trying to time it to get to work...and get a coffee as well
Keen on a camera to contribute some pics to this thread - on the long list of things I want to buy for SUPing ha ha
Minho River (the border between Northern Portugal and Spain) with 50 knots gusts. Took the Bullet 17'4 FAST and it was perfect for those conditions
today I desktop sup online, like every other days me think and I got get out more often like you happy lot.
think was a teeny tiny wave at makorori......but first day in ages no strong wind so went for a paddle around the shipping buoys.....a few fish nibbling at my lures.....but think they were about 6 inches long. Then went to mak but seabreeze had hit. Back to town ........so calm i took the dog. Caught tiny kahawai which made the dog very yip yappy and happy
Rose Bay, 5k flat water training run, early morning glass hardly a soul around. Love the harbour when it's like that.
Got up early and noticed the wind was not as bad as predicted, hit up Scarborough/Trigg stretch not expecting much.
Was actually a really fun session, pretty much had a bank to myself and scored some beautiful clean fast runners, eventually a couple of other SUP'ers came over and shared a few peaks.
The surf stance is working a treat, get myself in a good position then switch the stance and get in first gear with the short strokes and Woooooo Hooooo! Away I go! Still stoked with the view of the wave standing up when paddling in - love it.
Hope everyone else scored today!
Had a quick surf with my son. Got in the water too late, tide was out, but being with my son made the session.
Jericho beach, Vancouver, Canada.
Is that on the edge of Stanley Park?

The other side of English Bay. You can see Stanley Park in the distance (about middle, slightly to the right behind the bloody tankers).

English Bay - it's usual windy self!
I surfed at town beach (pipe)
went there first at 5 am still dark.......looked tiny but okay. Put my wetsuit on......but was pretty small. Put board back on car and went to makorori (where i thought would be quite messy but exciting bigger)
Wasn't much bigger and was flabby.
Went back to pipe.......just another couple of people out for a while until about 8 am when it got our version of crowded......about 10 people out.
Very little wind and tiny waves.....but peeling off fast in an almost exciting fashion
Ventnor, Phillip Island in the afternoon after missing out this morning.
Crowds at OK levels.
Had to hide from the wind close to shore.
Did some ins and outs, tried to kick turn the F16.
With mixed results.
